Construction Field Assistant
Job Summary
Our world-class construction company is in need of a hardworking full-time construction field assistant. Your daily work schedule will include assisting the Superintendent with forward planning, scheduling subcontractors, QA/QC, ensuring the job site is clean, and coordinating the workflow. You must embrace the company’s culture for the highest level of quality and have excellent communication skills.

Construction Field Assistant Duties:
- Be self motivated, be a teamplayer
- Assist the Superintendent with all aspects of the construction job, administrative
- work, and compliance with any established daily procedures of the project to ensure the build is progressing according to schedule and on budget
- Facilitate and coordinate as needed subcontractors scheduling, on-site material deliveries, debris removal, and any other
- Keep detailed records of job changes and a daily log of job site occurrences to assist with documentation for the Superintendent or Project Manager
- Ensure maintenance of a clean job site, free of any hazards, maintaining a good exterior appearance
- Follow all safety guidelines on the job site and immediately report any incidents or violations of work rules to the Superintendent or Project Manager
- Construction Field Assistant Qualifications
- Pass Drug Test and Background check
- Has basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in custom home building environment
- Minimum of High school diploma or GED is required
- Work experience as an administrative assistant or in the construction industry is preferred, but not required
- Carry a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Basic skills construction knowledge (how to use construction equipment and
- tools) is needed
- Have a good physical condition to assist in tasks such as moving items, climbing stairs, walk and work outdoors for long periods of time
- History of professionalism, being a team player, adhering to project schedules, regular attendance at work, and a strong work ethic
Compensation:
$50,000.00 to $70,000.00 annually (Range from $26.44 p/h to $36.06 p/h)
